With our Driving Instructor Training Course you will get to learn at your own pace so that you can absorb the correct teaching methods to become a successful Driving Instructor and so that you can attend to your clients individual needs.

 

Our Driving Instructor Training Course is delivered by our Company Director who is very experienced in all the Training aspects of the category B driving licence ranging from Learner Drivers & Driving Instructor Training all the way up to Corporate Fleet Assessment and Consultation.

 

 

The Stockport Driver Training 'driving instructor training course' is structured to fit around your current job/work requirements. The training is held on a one to one basis.

Part 1 Test

This is a theory based test on the computer. One half is multiple choice questions with questions ranging from stopping distances to instructional techniques. The other half is a computer based Hazard Perception test.

 

Part 2 Test

This is an Advanced Driving Test whereby you drive for 1hrs duration covering roads such as motorways, dual carriageways, etc you must not drop more than 6 minor faults.

 

Part 3 Test

This is a Test of Instructional Ability, whereby the examiner will act in a role play ranging from the portrayal of a novice driver to a test standard driver.

Any of the above packages can be paid for in advance if you wish. We issue receipts to all individuals who choose to pay this way.

 

The above packages can also be 'tweeked' to suit the needs of the individual which may lower the above posted price or slightly higher it, that is why the price quoted is classed as a 'typical price.'

 
Driving Instruction Consultation

If you are wondering whether a Driving Instruction Career is for you we offer a Home Consulatation Advice Service. This is currently priced at £30 for 1hr or £45 for 1.5hrs. You will get an incite into the world of Driving Instruction and whether it is really a career for you. (You also get the chance to ask any questions)

 
The Next Step

If you have decided that you would like to undertake one of our Professional Driving Instruction Training Courses you must:

 

1...Call Capita on 0870 850 2455 for you Criminal Records Application Pack.

 

2...Call the Driving Standards Agency on 0300 123 1126 (Alternative DSA number 0300 200 11 22) and ask for an ADI starter pack and complete Theory Question Booklet (There is a Small Fee of around £11) The ADI starter pack contains the application forms to enrol as a Driving Instructor. Once you recieve a Criminal Record Application Reference number this must also be written on the application form.

 

Once that is recieved by the Driving Standards Agency you will recieve a Personal Reference Number which you will use to book your first Driving Instruction Test.

 

Your Personal Reference Number will stay with you throughout your Driving Instruction career.
